Our client approached us with articles and photos of Cape Cod and Art Deco interiors when we first met. She couldn’t decide between the two styles. We suggested sticking with Art Deco considering it was the style of her building. And we could easily connect and reference existing details and features. She agreed, and we were on our way, starting with removing a wall between kitchen and dining room to create a sizable eat-in kitchen. We added lots of retro touches including curved lacquer cabinets, etched glass doors, and re-plating vintage hardware to complete look. She absolutely loved the results – it instantly became her favorite and most used room in the apartment.
